Sunday afternoon I got to take aerial photos out of the window of a single prop Cessna above the Isabella County/Mount Pleasant Michigan area. I flew with CMU Prof. of Journalism & New Media Kent Miller and pilot Craig Beins who did an excellent job maneuvering the plane, allowing me to get some great shots. It was one of the coolest things I have ever done. The idea of hanging out of the window of an airplane was intimidating, but I had a ton of fun and would have shot all day if I could.

Harvesting wheat
Shot from about 200-300 feet in the air, just after dropping 600 feet in a few seconds to get a little closer. Beats any roller coaster I have ever been on.
